Familia, the Brujeria Carnaval team, along with the entire New Orleans community is absolutely shocked by the events on New Year’s Day.  We are very saddened by the loss of life and tragedy that has been inflicted on the community.  Our hearts go out to all of the families affected by this horrible attack.

 

New Orleans is about fun experiences and good times for everyone that comes to the city.  However, we also want to ensure that everyone has a safe experience at the festival.  Therefore, we are currently evaluating our safety protocols and will be taking necessary steps to ensure that our dancers have a fun, but safe experience this year.
